Job Context
Reporting to the Project Officer with technical guidance from the Early Childhood Development (ECD) Program Coordinator, the Office Assistant is a pivotal team member responsible for essential support in implementing project activities. The role focuses on achieving targeted indicators and project outputs, with a special emphasis on maintaining efficient day-to-day operations, ensuring timely reporting, and executing tasks with precision. The Office Assistant actively participates in mobilizing and reinforcing nurturing care for early childhood development services, specifically targeting adolescent parents, families, and children aged 0-3 years. Additionally, they facilitate appropriate and timely linkages and referrals between the target population, service providers, and stakeholders.

Job Responsibility
- Maintain cleanliness of the office both in and
out daily.
- Organize staff refreshment.
- Assist in producing photocopies of documents.
- Document Management: Handle incoming and
outgoing documents from store, maintaining proper storage, retrieval, and
distribution.
- Administrative Support: Assist other office
staff by performing general clerical tasks such as filing, photocopying.
- Office Supplies: Monitor inventory levels of
office supplies and place orders, when necessary, by liaising with
administrative officer.
- Internal Communication: Serve as a central
point for internal communications, distributing memos, updating bulletin
boards, and relaying messages.
- Technical Support: Offer first-level technical
support for office equipment like printers, projectors, and video
conferencing systems.
- Event Coordination: Plan and organize company
events or meetings, to outside catering.
- Any other errands/responsibilities as assigned.
- Maintain cleanliness of the office both in and
out daily.

Educational Requirement
· KCSE Certificate

Experience Requirement
· Good communication skills English and Kiswahili
· Ability to work well with others.
· A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role.
